A new demo has been released with a couple of new features
- An online high score chart showing lap records set by players at: http://www.megaderek.com/displayscores.php
- A handbrake for the cars
- Tweaked car rendering shaders
- Tweaked physics
- Support for older cards such as Geforce2 and Geforce4MX (fingers crossed)
The Torana A9X shown in the screenshot is not in the demo but is a taste of things to come.
CGameProgrammer I just remember seeing about 2 or 3 lines of text with mysql error etc, couldn't remember exactly. At the time I thought it might have had something to do with the firewall I have at work so was going to re-upload from home but noticed my work got posted anyway.
Umm...I played this game last night and it ran great...and today I played it a couple of times and it ran good...then I go to do another race and this is an image I get:
wadder can you tell me a bit more about your system specs.
do you have multiple monitors?
do you have multiple display cards?
do you have a screen saver or power saving feature that is set to come on?
what sort of graphics card do you have?
The left half of that image looks like its in wireframe mode, this can be toggled with the F1 key, but it also looks squished.
The right half looks like something I've not seen and looks like its a pattern from a different application of screen saver or something.
Also ALT-TAB is a known issue with the game at the moment, if you switch back to the desktop during play it can cause graphics corruption.
