It is said that in one of the distant provinces there is a mountain called Lyanyanshan. An old temple stands on the peak of that mountain. Allegedly, there is a secret path leading from the temple to an underground lake, where an insular fortress raises from the dark waters. Allegedly, an ancient weapon is stored behind the stone walls of that fortress, and a monk-warrior in the form of a white crane guards that secret way from the evil demons. Truth or not, but many of those who climbed the Lyanyanshan mountain told that they had seen a white crane not far from the old temple.
